Solving my life’s Rubik Cube
After my graduation, things became complicated like a Rubik cubic and everything seemed messed up as I didn’t have any idea that how should I apply for jobs, what should I include in my resume, what should I answer to the interviewer’s questions and most importantly I was facing problems because of my lack of confidence and for all of these reasons, I decided to join Amal Academy to ace interviews.
However, when I attended my 1st session on 20th March, Saturday, we were asked to share our stories behind our names and I was confused that how is this going to help me in my career? But after the passage of time, I realized that there is a reason behind every designed course and activity like in our first course of knowing yourself, we reflected and thought about our strengths and our values. We reflected and drew a life map and understood the idea behind connecting dots.
Moreover, In our Project Work 1, We were given a task to think about our Personal and Professional goals and the “WHY” behind each goal. This task was a bit difficult as I had to be very specific about each goal. While writing my reasons behind every goal, my rubic cube was getting solved a bit as I came to know that what are my priorities in terms of goals.
I wonder that how Amal focusses on that we should not think of any act as small because little drops of water make the mighty ocean and for this reason, We were given a task to do five acts of kindness in a day so that we could understand and feel the happiness after helping others and should not hesitate in doing acts which we think are small.
In week 2, We were given a Project work in which we had to look around ourselves and had to fix the stuff which was not in order and by doing that, we physically implemented Leadership without authority and realized that leadership is not about dominating and ruling others’ life but to have an impact and influence their lives.
After attending two weeks at Amal, I realized that now things would get simple as I am going to relate things and would be able to connect dots.
The first two weeks gave me the motivation to keep continuing this fellowship despite my busy schedule because I wanted to get my life’s Rubik cube to get solved as soon as possible.
