I joined Amal Academy in March 2021 which is a three month career fellowship to build professional skills.

Although the three months passed like a roller coaster and I experienced different flavors of life. Amal Academy is not just a career prep fellowship, it is the place where you make another family, where each person listens and respects your opinions, where you don’t shy to express your opinions because you know that no one will judge you.

On Sunday, 13 June 2021, I woke up to take an online session and was very excited and sad at the same time as this was the last session of the amazing journey that I had been living for three months. In this session, we had no online course to discuss and we had also given our mega project presentations, so I had no idea that what I was going to experience that day.

The session started with the beautiful memories of the fellows as they shared their feedbacks about their Amal journey. Everyone told that why they joined Amal and how it has played its part in their self-development. Moreover, Sir Anis (Program Manager) also asked that how we are going to continue the things that had been taught to us. Some said that they are going to apply the skills while applying for jobs and some wanted to continue writing blogs including me ☺. No matter what, everyone had their plans to implement the skills in the future which they learned in Amal Academy.

As in this fellowship, we met amazing people which became our family so we also thought and shared our opinions that how we are going to be in touch with each other. Although we are connected with our fellows on LinkedIn to support and celebrate their achievements but we also decided that whenever we need anyone’s help or if someone is feeling down, he or she can just drop a message on our Whatsapp group and this Amal family would be there for him/her to help and support them.

During the session, we also had a riddle activity and for that, we were divided into two groups and each group had to solve 25 riddles and whatever the answer would be, fellows had to take a selfie with that thing. It was a very fun activity as we were taking selfies with stairs, plates, water bottles and much more.🤩

Although this journey can never vanish from our minds still we wanted to capture that moment so we took pictures with virtual graduation caps 🎓

We also decided to thank our amazing and polite facilitators Sir Anis and Ma’am Alia so we presented Thank you poster and showed it simultaneously.😍

In the end, we also gave positive feedbacks to our fellows on padlet which will always remain with us as a sign of beautiful memory🤩

Although our Amal fellowship has ended but what it had taught me will remain with me and by implementing the skills which I have learned in this journey, I will be able to write a new story of my life😊
